This is why I do what I do.

It's not about me.

It's actually about you, at least for me it is.

Many are amazed to learn how many chemicals are in their home and food. These chemicals can make you very sick. They are in everything!

Do you ever wonder why some families are healthy and never sick? Or, it seems that way. Then you have families who seem always to be sick. They catch everything that comes down the pike. Well, you are not alone in wondering this, and there are explanations.
You go to the doctor, and they can't tell you what is wrong but give you pills anyway.

Do you want to feel better or sleep better?

What about giving your newborn or children the best start in life?

Millions of people in America aren't healthy. They don't have the energy they need to get through the day without energy drinks, coffee.

We live in a toxic world, and while we can't do anything about our external environment, we can certainly can improve our life with organic gardening without all the toxic chemicals and high prices. 🌿 💪

Hi, I'm Debby Savage

I'm a creator, organic loving garden grower, healthy living nut, and the founder of How To Be Green.

And I'm glad you're here—a little about my past and what brought me to the place in life where I created this site and business.

I've had quite a few health challenges during my life.

Heavy metal poisoning resulting from silver fillings I received as a child of an Air Force dad and many health issues due to that.

I had horrible gut issues that lead me on the path to organic food. After starting to eat organic food, my IBS symptoms completely went away!  Completely!! 👉  NO CHEMICALS, NO IBS. 👈 Improved my health. I can't say enough good things about vitamin and mineral-dense food that you can grow for pennies.

Chemicals are everywhere, but they don't have to be in your food. Start your simple and easy organic garden today.  You won't be sorry.  Grow in big or small spaces because you have options!   🥦🍎

Yes, I want to start an organic garden!

The Women God Put In My Life Who Had Great Influence on Me

My beautiful German mother who taught me healthy living.  The way they do it in Germany.

My grandmother and me, top right. She had a full acre vegetable garden plus every berry bush and fruit tree known to mankind. I helped her with picking and preserving the harvest every summer growing up.

My Aunt Cecil lived to 97 years old. She taught me how to save seeds and repurpose them.  She lived through the Great Depression and she reused everything!

They grew up on the Tennessee River where the family owned a trading post. That area is now under water and known as Watts Barr Lake.
